Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VideoPlus website, browser extension, download and recording features, license service, and related support (together, the "Service"). By installing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms for any paid purchase.
2. What the Service Provides
VideoPlus can detect, download, merge, preview, or record certain video and audio made available through a supported browser tab. Features depend on the browser, source website, media format, source quality, plan, and technical protections applied to the media.
VideoPlus does not guarantee that a particular website, stream, resolution, codec, or file will be available or continue to work. Websites and browsers can change without notice. The Service is not designed to bypass digital rights management ("DRM"), paywalls, authentication, encryption, or other access controls.
3. Permission to Use Content
VideoPlus is a tool. It does not grant you rights to media owned or controlled by someone else. You may use the Service only for content that you own or are legally authorized to download or record, such as public-domain content, content offered under a license that permits saving, or content for which you have the owner's permission.
You are responsible for complying with copyright and other laws, privacy and publicity rights, and the terms of the source website. Personal use, access to a webpage, or the technical ability to record a browser tab does not necessarily give you permission to copy, retain, share, or reuse the content. If you are unsure, do not download or record it.
4. Prohibited Use
You must not use the Service to:
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
- Bypass or attempt to bypass DRM, encryption, authentication, paywalls, geographic restrictions, or other access controls;
- Record private communications or activity without any consent required by law;
- Copy, distribute, sell, publicly perform, or commercially use content without the necessary rights;
- Distribute malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or content that exploits or endangers children;
- Interfere with the Service, evade plan limits, misuse licenses, probe security, or impose an unreasonable load on our systems;
- Resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from VideoPlus except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Browser and Website Permissions
The extension needs browser permissions to detect media, access the active tab when requested, initiate downloads, or record a tab or its audio. Your browser displays the permissions requested by the installed version. You can disable or remove the extension through your browser, but doing so may prevent the Service from working.
VideoPlus is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by the websites from which you choose to save content, or by Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or their operators. Third-party names belong to their respective owners.
6. Free and Paid Plans
The free tier includes the limits shown on the pricing page or in the extension. Paid plans unlock the features and limits shown on the pricing page or in the extension. A license key must not be published, sold separately, or used outside any activation or usage limits disclosed at checkout or in the order confirmation.
We may add, change, or discontinue features to maintain security, respond to browser or website changes, comply with law, or improve the Service. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during a current subscription term, contact us and we will provide any remedy required by applicable law or our refund policy.
7. Purchases, Renewals, and Cancellation
Prices, billing periods, included features, and applicable taxes are displayed before purchase. Checkout and order management are handled by a payment provider identified at checkout. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date. You can cancel through the customer portal linked in your order email. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues through the end of the current billing period unless the checkout terms say otherwise.
A plan described as "lifetime" is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not automatically renew. Its included features and duration are those stated on the pricing page or in the extension. Because VideoPlus depends on browsers and third-party websites, a lifetime plan does not guarantee that every integration or third-party source will remain compatible forever.
8. Refunds
Purchases made through our authorized checkout are eligible for a refund request within 7 days of the original purchase. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details. Refunds are returned through the original payment provider. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
9. Updates and Suspension
We may release updates and may require an update for compatibility or security. We may suspend or terminate access to paid features if a license is invalid, expired, refunded, charged back, shared, used fraudulently, or associated with a material violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and canceling any subscription.
10. Our Software and Brand
VideoPlus, its software, website, design, documentation, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service. These Terms do not transfer ownership of VideoPlus or of third-party media to you.
11. Reports About Rights Violations
If you believe material made available by VideoPlus itself infringes your rights, email [email protected] with your contact information, identification of the work and material, its location, the basis for your claim, and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith. VideoPlus does not host files that users download from third-party websites, so complaints about material on a source website should also be directed to that website.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free downloads or recordings, compatibility with every website or browser, any particular media quality, or continued availability of third-party content. You are responsible for checking downloaded files and maintaining backups.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VideoPlus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or claims arising from third-party content or websites. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits that limitation.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or security requirements. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning the Service, except for terms displayed and accepted at checkout.
Applicable law and any court or forum with lawful jurisdiction govern disputes. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections or a right to bring a claim in a forum that applicable law makes available to you.
